Vijay's next movie Kuruvi is creating waves in the kollywood.The first phase of the shooting is already over in malaysia, following the tamil incidents in malaysia they're carrying out their shooting now in set near salem. Despite the not-so-great response to his Azhagiya Thamizh Magan, Vijay continues to be popular among distributors. This has been proved by the fact that a Kerala distributor has obtained the Kerala rights of Kuruvi for Rs. 1.5 crores
